Solar Light Posts

Designs are first drawn on 6″ square steel pipe, then cut out using the plasma torch. The next step is to weld top and base pieces onto the pipe. The base is hollow and allows the solar light to be inserted from the top on short posts and the bottom on tall posts.

Stephen applies a rusty patina to add color and a special coating to protect the surface.

The solar collector may be place up to 20′ away from the post.

Lots of Designs:

No two posts are exactly alike because they are hand drawn and then hand cut with a plasma torch. We have some general themes and you may ask about other possibilities.
