Designs are first drawn on 6″ square steel pipe, then cut out using the plasma torch. The next step is to weld top and base pieces onto the pipe. The base is hollow and allows the solar light to be inserted from the bottom.
Stephen applies a rusty patina to add color and then a special coating to protect the surface from further rusting.
The Posts are a nice addition to the garden landscape day and night.
The solar panel can be positioned 5′ or so away from the post in the sunniest spot.
